

UNILAG School of Foundation Studies 2025/2026 Admission: Everything You Need to Know
The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has officially announced the sale of application forms for admission into its prestigious School of Foundation Studies for the 2025/2026 academic session. This is a golden opportunity for students seeking a direct pathway into 200 level at UNILAG and other partnering universities through the JUPEB programme.

Application Opens: Monday, May 26, 2025
Application Closes: Friday, August 15, 2025
Entrance Examination: Saturday, August 30, 2025
Venue: Distance Learning Institute (DLI), UNILAG Campus
๐ง Examination Format
The entrance examination is fully computer-based and will consist of multiple-choice questions. The subjects include:
English Language โ 20 Questions
Mathematics โ 20 Questions
Three Other Relevant Subjects (based on chosen combination) โ 15 Questions Each
Thatโs a total of 85 questions to be answered in 45 minutes.
๐ Note: Candidates who choose Mathematics in their subject combination must take Further Mathematics in the exam.

Admission into undergraduate programmes is subject to approved capacity for each course.
Passing the JUPEB exam does not guarantee admission into your preferred course.
The university reserves the right to conduct additional screening or testing where necessary.

The programme does not currently support visually impaired students.
It is a non-residential programme, meaning accommodation will not be provided by the school.
It is a one-year intensive academic programme aligned with the JUPEB syllabus to prepare students for direct entry admission.
