The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has officially announced the sale of application forms for admission into its prestigious School of Foundation Studies for the 2025/2026 academic session. This is a golden opportunity for students seeking a direct pathway into 200 level at UNILAG and other partnering universities through the JUPEB programme.

  • Application Opens: Monday, May 26, 2025

  • Application Closes: Friday, August 15, 2025

  • Entrance Examination: Saturday, August 30, 2025

  • Venue: Distance Learning Institute (DLI), UNILAG Campus

๐Ÿง  Examination Format

The entrance examination is fully computer-based and will consist of multiple-choice questions. The subjects include:

  • English Language โ€“ 20 Questions

  • Mathematics โ€“ 20 Questions

  • Three Other Relevant Subjects (based on chosen combination) โ€“ 15 Questions Each

Thatโ€™s a total of 85 questions to be answered in 45 minutes.
๐Ÿ” Note: Candidates who choose Mathematics in their subject combination must take Further Mathematics in the exam.

  • Admission into undergraduate programmes is subject to approved capacity for each course.

  • Passing the JUPEB exam does not guarantee admission into your preferred course.

  • The programme does not currently support visually impaired students.

  • It is a non-residential programme, meaning accommodation will not be provided by the school.

  • It is a one-year intensive academic programme aligned with the JUPEB syllabus to prepare students for direct entry admission.
